Dick Alexander has been the Lead Pastor at LifeSpring Christian Church in Cincinnati, OH for the last 26 years. He's never been an axe murderer, hasn't started a bunch of Bible colleges hasn't found a cure for anything terminal -- but he has been a great voice for churches staying on their global mission and has written extensively on church leadership. Dick is a self-admitted rabble-rouser and trouble-maker.


Jason Barr is currently the senior pastor of Macedonia Church in Pittsburgh, PA where he has served since 1988. Jason is also an adjunct professor at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA, and Geneva College in Beaver Falls Pennsylvania. Pastor Barr is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of Macedonia Family and Cultural Enrichment Center, an organization he founded to help the church more effectively reach out to the Community.


Bob Buford is a business leader and social entrepreneur who co-founded Leadership Network in 1984, became founding chairman in 1988 of what was initially called The Peter F. Drucker Foundation for Nonprofit Management, and popularized the concept of Half Time through several books he authored. Bob is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and of the Owner Managed Program at Harvard. He has played active roles in Young Presidents' Organization and World Presidents' Organization and serves on the board of the Hauser for Nonprofit Organizations at Harvard. Center Business School.

Dale Burke is the senior pastor of First Evangelical Free Church of Fullerton, CA. In addition, he empowers the senior staff and maintains ultimate oversight of the ministries of the church. Dale and his wife Becky have three grown children, all of whom are married, and three grandchildren.  

Wayne Cordeiro is the founding pastor of New Hope Christian Fellowship in Honolulu, Hawaii; one of the nation’s fastest growing churches with over 14,000 in weekend attendance. Wayne is a church planter at heart with over 105 churches planted in the Pacific Rim and beyond, including Hawaii, Seattle, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, the Philippines, Japan, Australia and Myanmar. He is also a trainer of leaders as chancellor over the consortium of Pacific Rim Christian Colleges with locations in Hawaii, Oregon, Myanmar, and Tokyo training emerging leaders from around the world.


Earl Creps has spent years on the road studying the culture and outreach strategies of leaders and congregations attempting to connect with emerging culture. He brings to this research a background as a pastor, having led three churches (one Boomer, one Builder, and one Gen X), a consultant, having served as his denomination’s national Adult Ministries Consultant, and an educator, teaching on mission in emerging culture for the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, Missouri, where he spent 6 and a half years directing doctoral studies. Today, he and his wife Janet are developing a church planting project in Berkeley, California.

Carl George engages full time in consulting with churches and coaching church leaders who want their churches to grow. He authors books and multi-media learning materials useful to church leaders. His invention of a descriptive organizational x-ray model called the MetaChurch has provided insights used by a generation of consultants and leaders of many large, growing churches.

Dr. Gene A. Getz has authored over 60 books including the best seller “The Measure of a Man.” Numerous titles of his books have been translated into over 35 languages. His landmark book “Sharpening the Focus of the Church,” led him to launch the Fellowship Bible Church movement throughout the United States. He has helped start 12 churches in the Dallas area alone with over 30,000 worshippers every weekend. Gene now serves as President of the Center for Church Renewal, Pastor Emeritus at Chase Oaks Church (formerly Fellowship Bible Church North).


Matt Hannan is the lead pastor of New Heights Church in Vancouver, WA. Under his leadership, New Heights has grown from a church of a few hundred to a multi-site church with twelve services in four different locations. Additionally, he has served as key leader in a Northwest Church Planting, an organization that provides training, coaching and consulting for leaders and networks committed to starting new churches.


Dr. Kevin G. Harney is the Teaching Pastor and Evangelism Champion at Central Wesleyan Church in Holland, Michigan and at Faith Reformed Church in Dyer, Indiana. Kevin also serves on the teaching team of the University Chapel ministry at Grand Valley State University. Jim Herrington is a pastor, author, and conference leader. He serves as the pastor of Harbor Church, a network of house churches in Houston, Texas— Montrose Community. He is a coauthor of Leading Congregational Change (Jossey-Bass). Robert Creech has been senior pastor of the University Baptist Church in Houston, Texas, since 1987. Trisha Taylor is a fellow in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors and practices through the Union Baptist Association Center for Counseling in Houston, Texas.

Craig Strickland started Hope Church twenty-two years ago with a vision to minister to unchurched people throughout Cordova and East Shelby County. Wanting to reach two-timers (folks who attend church only at Christmas and Easter), he assembled a core group of supporters who set out to create a different kind of church in Memphis. He now serves as Vice President of Liberty University, that he co-founded with the late Dr. Jerry Falwell.


Bill Wellons is a church planter and consultant with Fellowship Associates, a supporting ministry of Fellowship Bible Church Little Rock. In 1977, Bill and his wife Carolyn helped found Fellowship, where he served as a Teaching Pastor and Chairman of the Elder Board for 32 years. Bill transitioned to Fellowship Associates in 2005 to oversee a Leadership Residency for church planters, to consult with church leaders and to partner with Leadership Network’s Halftime Ministry to churches.


Bruce Wesley is the founding pastor of Clear Creek Community Church in League City, Texas, near NASA’s Johnson Space Center. The church started sixteen years ago (1993) in an elementary school with nine families and a vision to lead unchurched people to become fully devoted followers of Jesus.
